welcome to my soul

We had girls night last night, complete with two packages of cookies and some delicious cake that Mark made. lovelbow , pyro19  and belladonna33 came over, and we watched the Sex and the City movie (adorable! must watch the show now!) and then He's Just Not That Into You, which - despite being really awkward at points - I thought was great. Mainly because Mac Guy ended up with Obsessive Phone Call Girl, and I sort of identified with OPCG, seeing as how I obsessed over a guy for like... way too long. But it brings me hope that maybe I'll find my very own Mac Guy!

This afternoon, Kate is coming over for a bit to watch more of season 3 of Robin Hood. And by watch, I mean make fun of, because it's far too awful for me to take seriously anymore. Then I've got work until 9:15. And then... who knows?

I just started a Big Bang Theory Penny/Sheldon fic involving zombies, and I think I'll write that until Kate gets here. And maybe eat cake. And take my laundry out of the dryer. I wait far too long to actually do laundry. I am not good at this whole living thing. Whoops.

My dizziness has not gone away. I've been attempting to eliminate factors all day, but so far I am still just dizzy.
I also haven't eaten hardly anything all day. But before you attribute it to the lack of eating (which is so unlike me!) know that I was dizzy during and after I ate anything. So it's not food.
I'm guessing its an inner ear thing. If it gets worse/doesn't get better tomorrow, I'm going to the clinic at school after my seminar.


Movie recommendation: LAST OF THE MOHICANS!! Daniel Day Lewis looks oh so delicious, so does the guy who plays Uncas. I have this thing for Native American men. And they were all so delicious!!
The soundtrack kicks serious ass too.

I wrote the first page of a Robin Hood fanfic today. Haven't written one of those in like a year.
And I finished my sem paper!! I need to get it cited before class tomorrow, which means I should probably set my alarm. But its written! Its done. I'm done with it. Boo-yah.

Does anyone know where i can find the songs from the episodes? i loved the song at the end of tonight's episode, but I don't know what it's called.

Ok, back to the paper. Two more things:
-Josh is going to be my date to Trish's wedding! I have a date! And yes, we're only going as friends. But still! Someone to dance with! Someone to walk in with! Someone who will make me feel less like a single loser!
-Ep 1 of season 3 of Robin Hood airs tonight!! I must find it! MUST!

I have a half hour break from working, so i thought why not say hullo?

I feel a strange urgency to watch season 3 of Robin Hood, even though I dread the outcome. With... what happened at the end of season 2... how could they possibly redeem themselves? I haven't a clue. Although Friar Tuck is supposed to be in season 3, and he is going to be HOT. yes please.

I figured out it will cost me $411.28 to fly to Des Moines and back. if we have enough frequent flyer miles (which I think we do) I will go for free! if not, its the Greyhound for me. Not sure what weekend I am going to go yet. I need to look at July's work schedule, and pick a weekend. Find someone to work my Thurs and Friday, if possible.

I am surprisingly NOT excited about this Saturday's Doctor Who, which is just as well, since I will be at the gameshow competition all day with no chance to watch it anyway.  I just wish they would get to Rose already! ROSE, GODDAMNIT!!

Working tonight. Couldn't find someone to take tomorrows shift, so I work tomorrow night too. Boo. Oh well, at least I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn. The one thing about being made LEAD is there are exactly 4 people who can work for me. They are all busy tomorrow evening. Lame-o.

I went to see I am Legend yesterday with Kev and Celest. Honestly, I liked it! The vamp/zombies scared the fuck out of me. I am ashamed to admit I actually screamed in the theater at one point. :( I'm such a chicken shit.
And (its in the trailer so it isn't spoiling anything...) I cried when his dog died. SO SAD!! Poor Will Smith. That dog was super adorable, too.
But yes, I recommend it. Its not all zombie jumping, either. A good deal of it has to do with how he deals with being so isolated. Its a good look into apocalypse. Plus, Emma Thompson is in the beginning. What a fox!

Today's plans include starting (and finishing) my philosophy exam. Then all I have to worry about is my Gaelic written exam on Thursday and I'm done done done!! Gollum is freeeeee!

OH! And I started watching Blackpool with Celest the other night. The TV show where David Tennant sings? It's fucking hilarious. The singing/dancing bit is so very very cheesy, but I love it. Joe Armstrong is in it for a bit too, (a.k.a Allan from Robin Hood.) He hasn't sung yet though.

Once my computer stops scanning itself, I will lock myself in the library and work on my paper.
