On a sadder note, I need to start moving my stuff back home over thanksgiving break. :(

Wrote an Sylar/Elle fic, and looked up Sylar/Elle music vids on YouTube.
Yeah, I am freaking awesome.

Good weekend!
The party last night turned out to be a total blast. My alcohol consumption peaked in a cosmo in one hand and a Mike's Hard cranberry lemonade in the other. Finished both, felt sort of dizzy, and then got the world's biggest stomach ache and had to lie down. Reason # 227 why Ariel doesn't really drink.
I also tried a houka. The only part about it I really cared for was how cool the smoke looked coming out of my mouth. Other than that, I wasn't very impressed.

Tuesday is going to be rather crazy. I'd forgotten I set up an appointment with the head of the Irish Studies department at 1:30, so my plans of voting before class are out the window. I technically have class at 3:25, but I don't know if I will be able to go. Voting is more important. Sorry, St. Kates. i might try and go after class, but my worry is that by the time I get home, it'll be 6, and if the lines are so huge, I might not make it in time. >> eeep! I'm also trying to figure out a way to get to Brady's election party, but I have no idea how I would get there, ect. So uggh. Why hasn't anyone invented teleports yet?

I am in a BSG mood, so I might continue on with season 3 tonight. I also started re-reading Half Blood Prince. Its so good. /sigh

Oh! And before I forget... thanks to Heather's suggestion, and Monday's episode I am officially a Claire/Elle shipper on Heroes! ^_^ I never liked Claire's flying boyfriend anyway...

Finished season 1 of Life on Mars tonight. God, that is SUCH a good show.  The whole time i was like "omg! he's going to get hit by a car!! or die!! or something horrible will happen!" Also, I finished the front part of the roommate quilt tonight too. All that needs is the backing, and it will be toasty warm in time for winter!

This week;s Sarah Conner Chronicles was really freaking depressing. Screw you, robots.
Still haven't watched Heroes.

I am oddly thoughtful tonight. I realized that I live for love above all other things, and rely on things like TV and movies to give me my dosage, because I am not able at this point in my life to get out and meet men, and also have accepted the fact that things like "true love" and "happy endings" really don't exist.
Which is okay. Honest. But its what I want.
I almost miss the whole Nathan thing. At least back then I was hopeful. Now I'm just cynical.

Almost done with Holiday in Death! I am going to finish the last few pages before I turn in.

I GOT NEW GLASSES!!
And of course, the minute I come back to the dorm with my new ones, I find my old ones. No shit. I bellowed out a lovely course of "SON OF A FUCKING BITCH!!!" much to the amusement of my friends who were over at the time.

We started Life on Mars last night. It's pretty good. It took me a couple of episodes to get into it, but it is starting to grow on me. Tuesday is going to be Life on Mars night, I think.
