welcome to my soul

I am pretty sure I'm getting sick. I'm exhausted (of course, when am I not?) My throat hurts. I've been hacking all day.
I would like nothing more right now than to lie in bed and catch up on all the many TV shows I don't have time to watch this semester.
I have limited myself to: Glee, Bones, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Castle, and Stargate: Universe.
But what about Fringe? Dollhouse? Chuck? Reaper?

Then there are new shows I want to start, and reruns of shows I have never seen before.
Dawson's Creek, for instance. Remember when I really got into season 1 of Dawsons Creek? I was talking to Jeanna at work tonight, and now I want to start season 3, because that's the season Joey and Pacey fall in love.
(Season 1 = Dawson and Joey fall in love. Season 2 = Dawson and Joey break up. Season 3 = Joey and Pacey fall in love.)

See? I wanna watch! I'll just skip season 2. Too emo anyway. But waaaaaah!! Someone find me time. Where I can just sit there with my hot chocolate and blankets and watch TV. Please? Maybe I'll do that this weekend. When I'm not working. Or going home.

Also: I just found out that the senior seminar I want to take conflicts with the Harry Potter class that I was so desperately excited about for next semester. Phoo. Just, phoo.

And this is why I want to marry a singer. <3

Went to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince last night at midnight.
The theater we went to, Wynnsong, was SO FREAKING CROWDED I could barely stand it. Towards the end, we were all jammed in there like sardines, roasting alive and sweating like pigs. So that wasn't too fun. The conversation was good at the beginning, and a ton of my friends were there, even Emily who I haven't seen in like 2 years.

Pre-order your Harry Potter tickets for Tuesday night at midnight on Fandango (or somewhere) so that we can all be sure and get in to the midnight showing!!! I am gonna do it after the wedding. After I pick up my paycheck. Which I need to do soon 'cause I need to head out to said wedding really soon here.

Sooooo... Harry Potter is coming out soon.
And Meg Cabot recently put a bunch of awesome movie posters up on her blog, so I am going to take a break from data entry to show you said awesome posters, and comment.

Harry Potter, you look so freaking emo in this picture. I realize Sirius just kicked the bucket, but I am not looking forward to seeing this one Emo all over the screen again. HPB was my favorite book until DH came out!! Cheer up!







I won't lie guys, I am not at all excited about this couple. From the previews, the kiss looks TOTALLY awkward (reminiscent of the super dumb Harry/Cho-we're-not-going-to-touch-at-all kiss from OoTP.)The book scene was totally cute! He burst through the door, everyone was cheering, and they full-on frenched in front of a common room full of people! Where's that? I want that!









Now THIS guy, I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of. Did he get more muscle-y since the last time we saw him? I think so. Break me off a piece of THAT Kit-Kat bar.












The beginning of the Ron/Hermione sexual tension is a go!! I could squeal. I WILL squeal. It's what sucked me into the series. (Well, ok, I used to be a H/Hr shipper. But when I came to my senses, it what made me love the last 2 books!) This is going to be so great! Horray! July 15 come right now!! I want my ship!



Poor emo Hermione needs a hug. I have an idea, Ron! Sympathy snog! Go! It's all good though, she attacks him with paper birds. /grins My kind of girl. Emma Watson has become so pretty too.









Hello, tall dark and brooding! Not dark, really, more so pale he could be a beacon. But handsome! Draco's downfall. Tom Felton is such a McHottie, I can't wait to see more of him. He will be the most emo-tastic of everyone! And with good reason. Dark Mark = oww.

Dad is taking us out for Indian food tonight, and then I will probably go see up!. I heard it's cute.
For now, I will ignore the world.

-Finished my re-read of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Cried when [that one character] died. Always do. It's just so freaking sad.
-Just wrote an ode to [that one character] for my poetry class tonight, since the assignment was to write an ode.
-The winter has gotten to the point where my fingers get cold when I'm typing. Shoot. 
-Am super hungry right now. Have decided my new breakfast (on work days) is going to be coffee and a banana, but unfortunately that's not totally filling.
-Still haven't written the two papers due for this week, though am starting to feel more confident about them. Perhaps will stay up late tonight and finish them. LOL. Probably not.

Final thought: Pluto will always be a planet in my mind.

The party last night turned out to be a total blast. My alcohol consumption peaked in a cosmo in one hand and a Mike's Hard cranberry lemonade in the other. Finished both, felt sort of dizzy, and then got the world's biggest stomach ache and had to lie down. Reason # 227 why Ariel doesn't really drink.
I also tried a houka. The only part about it I really cared for was how cool the smoke looked coming out of my mouth. Other than that, I wasn't very impressed.

Tuesday is going to be rather crazy. I'd forgotten I set up an appointment with the head of the Irish Studies department at 1:30, so my plans of voting before class are out the window. I technically have class at 3:25, but I don't know if I will be able to go. Voting is more important. Sorry, St. Kates. i might try and go after class, but my worry is that by the time I get home, it'll be 6, and if the lines are so huge, I might not make it in time. >> eeep! I'm also trying to figure out a way to get to Brady's election party, but I have no idea how I would get there, ect. So uggh. Why hasn't anyone invented teleports yet?

I am in a BSG mood, so I might continue on with season 3 tonight. I also started re-reading Half Blood Prince. Its so good. /sigh

Oh! And before I forget... thanks to Heather's suggestion, and Monday's episode I am officially a Claire/Elle shipper on Heroes! ^_^ I never liked Claire's flying boyfriend anyway...

I started the British miniseries Dead Set about the zombies that take over the Big Brother studio. Its freaky, and really gross, but also rather hilarious because its reality TV getting attacked by zombies. These are really fast, crazy zombies like in 28 days later. RUN AWAY!

Harry and Ginny running around in their PJs in a cornfield. Why don't I remember this scene? I actually don't remember the cornfield at all. Except in the trailer, something is also burning in it. Odd.

Must curb desire to read Half Blood Prince again!! I still need to finish Lamb: The Gospel According to Christ's Chilldhood Friend Biff  and all the books Lacey let me borrow.
Also, I'm wearing my smexy red dress to work tomorrow!! Woot!

Looking at new (to me) images of the new HPizzle move, set to come out in July (way to go WB. You freaking suck), makes me want to giggle insanely and fall back, head first, into the Harry Potter phenomenon like I did last year with the release of Deathly Hallows.

So um, here's an idea. It might be dumb, and if you think its bad, feel free to let me know, because I'm just going to toss it out here.
This is primarily for my St. Kates girls, but everyone in the surrounding area is welcome.

If all we get from Harry and Ginny is a hug, I very well may have to storm Warner Brothers. Its bad enough there are rumors floating around that the movies aren't going to expand the Tonks/Lupin relationship...

In the library, we have all the HP books in LC order, which puts them out of the order they are supposed to be read in. Today, I secretly arranged them by year, the way they are supposed to be. LC can bite me.

An hour and a half left to go. I can totally do this.

I finished my history paper! Take that you 12 page piece of gosa! If I was going to bother getting the final copy (which I'm totally not) I would certainly burn you!

To make ourselves feel better and relieve the pressure of impending deadlines, Heather and I took breaks tonight and started watching Wizard People, Dear Reader, the Harry Potter SS audio track remake which is absolutely the most hilarious thing I have ever seen. I found a version of it actually synced to the movie. I haven't laughed so hard since I went through all the "Married to the Sea" comics in one day.

Tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. the moving frenzy begins. Tomorrow at 4:15, I return to the library to work once more.
Then I'm freeeeeeeeee!!

Tonight's drunk dial from Max was considerably less entertaining than last time's. (He only said "you should come down to Des Moines" one time.) He does seem to be strangly nicer to me when he's drunk. Imagine what our Zelda drinking games will be like. We may actually hug.
