welcome to my soul

I've posted my Big Bang Theory zombie fanfic!! I won't lie, I mostly wrote it at work. Or entirely at work. It's really freaking slow during the summer, and for some reason, inspiration comes really easily it a big quiet library. But I had such a good time writing it. Another reason why I should never ever stop writing.

Today is my 8 hour shift, but I'm almost done with 4 of those hours and I figured I would use the next 4 to work on my novel. Oooor be productive. But let's be honest, I'll probably write.

Tonight is woemakesmesmile s awesome toga party (even though I am not going to wear a toga) with karaoke (well, I might sing) and I get to see my lovely cat-niece again. pinkplasticlove is gonna be my date and encourage me not to be so anxious and awkward. We're gonna wear our outfits that we've got planned for CON next week, in replacement of the togas. Corset + odd colored wigs = much cooler than a bed sheet.

And in other news, I bought myself a lego Indiana Jones keychain yesterday. He is keeping the handless lego Chewbacca keychain company now.

I FINALLY saw The Wrath of Khan last night when I hung out with Matt and Dave and Tim. We watched that and The Last Starfighter. Both horrible sci fi films. The Spock/Kirk ship was outstanding in Khan. So much shippery goodness! No wonder their couple started fanfiction. (No, seirously, I did a paper on it.)
I almost wasn't going to go because I'd felt like shit all day and had a massive headache. I'm gladI did though. I ended up having a great time. Those guys are just hilarious, and I very much hope to see more of them. ^_^

Work has been slow, as usual. I'm off in about an hour though, so that's nice.
Tomorrow, I get to go see my kitty-niece! woemakesmesmile  brought Oprah up from Des Moines, and I am so psyched to see her. (Not so much to actually hang out with Max, though.)
Then HOPEFULLY I will get to see eternal_clocks , sjounouchi , and Tom on Wednesday. I miss them.
I gave away my last 20 bucks to the bank this morning to pay my Netflix bill, so hopefully my check on Friday (first paycheck of the summer!!) is going to be more than what I owe for rent this month. I could use some spending money. And, you know, have to pay other bills and stuff.

-put up epic Big Bang Theory zombie fic. (may actually post link on here, as am very proud of it.)
-take a bath

P.S. How ridiculously hot out was it today? It wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for the damn humidity. We'd better get SERIOUS stormmage tonight.

I leave a week from two days from now. So 9 days. Eeek! Although I am definitely getting more excited about it.
I have most of my stuff assembled. Have to go through photos, find momentos from home that I want to take with me. I found a really cool birthday poster Heather made, and I think I'll bring that, as well as the card Kate made me.

Last night, mom, Heather and I watched the new version of Emma (the one with Kate Beckensale) and now I very much want to wear a bonnet and marry a man in a waistcoat.  Tonight, depending on how much I get done this afternoon, and what time I get back from the massive shopping excursion my family has planned, I'm going to try and hang out with Max/Ben/Tom/probably just Max though.
We'll see how the night shapes up.

I want very much to see so many people, and my time is running out. :(
Frak. I'm going to have the biggest ever shindig when I get back...
