Dad is taking us out for Indian food tonight, and then I will probably go see up!. I heard it's cute.
For now, I will ignore the world.

Watched the Doctor Who easter special with Kate today. IT WINS. I am really going to miss DT when he leaves.
Went to Platform 9 3/4 today! And found the TARDIS. And ate a chocolate eclair and drank tea at a cute pastry shop.
And I may have also bought a really cute Winnie the Pooh mug just because it reminded me of Heather. I really must stop doing that.

I also watched the latest Robin Hood episode. Not quite as crappy as the other two, but definitely not great. Fun to make fun of.
It made me want to watch seasons 1 and 2 again, back when the show was actually good. I miss Will and Djaq. :( Marathon this summer? Anyone? I also want to watch the first two seasons of Doctor Who. And the 4th. But not the third because Martha is stupid. <<

Tomorrow, Kate and I are going to Westminster Abbey for their Easter service (I know, I am actually going to church), and then we're coming back and eating lots of the delicious chocolates we bought today just for the occasion. Even though Kate didn't give up anything for Lent.
Then, I think we might watch Casanova? I don't know. We can't get around very easily tomorrow, so I think we might just hang out in the apartment and be lazy. and then Monday Amy comes!! horray!!

Kate's TARDIS party was awesome!! I seriously have the coolest friends ever. EVER. Much screaming and cheering ensued, and afterwards we had smores! Decided her grill looked like a dalek.
Part two of said party is at my house next Saturday. Bring tissues.
There is also a 4th of July party at my place the night before, everyone is welcome, but let me know so dad can know how much food to make. He's grilling!! Woot!

Another 8 hour day at work. Wee joy. 5 1/2 hours to go. Then I get a day off! Horray!
And? I have no food for lunch. Again. I guess Jimmy Johns and I will become even closer. We're developing quite a relationship this summer.

I very well may applaud when Mulder and Scully make out on screen in the new X-files movie. And cheer. And possibly leap out of my seat.

I am going to propose a season finale shindig at my place next Saturday, since apparently they aren't showing both episodes tonight as we had originally thought. So yes, ladies (and any gents who care to show up), if you are up for it...
Otherwise I will watch at the big viewing party at CONvergence. Like I did two years ago. Where I bawled my eyes out because Rose was stuck in an alternate dimension.

I still have 7 hours and 50 minutes left of work before said party can commence, though. Lamers.

Mom and I are going to see Wall-E sometime this week!! According to Heather, its really cute.

I had a one hour training session with a personal trainer who went over what I should do to maximize my efficiency at LA Fitness (where mom and i just joined.)
I maximized all right. And now walking hurts. Walking, going up/down stairs, sitting. Today should be interesting. And by interesting, I mean its going to suck.
Mom and I are going to go to the pool and walk around a bit, slowly, to see if that helps us.



There was a mix up buying tickets to Des Moines, so I am going to have to re-order them, but at least I know now that I can!! I had to pay $100 in the end for the flight, because we don't have quite enough frequent flier miles to get me there and back (apparently it costs 50,000 and dad only had 49,000. Seriously. I hate frequent flier miles.

Oh! I am also DLing the first episode of Ghost Squad, on Kate's recommendation that is quite good. And also its got Jonas Armstrong in it. How could it possibly miss?

I have a half hour break from working, so i thought why not say hullo?

I feel a strange urgency to watch season 3 of Robin Hood, even though I dread the outcome. With... what happened at the end of season 2... how could they possibly redeem themselves? I haven't a clue. Although Friar Tuck is supposed to be in season 3, and he is going to be HOT. yes please.

I figured out it will cost me $411.28 to fly to Des Moines and back. if we have enough frequent flyer miles (which I think we do) I will go for free! if not, its the Greyhound for me. Not sure what weekend I am going to go yet. I need to look at July's work schedule, and pick a weekend. Find someone to work my Thurs and Friday, if possible.

I am surprisingly NOT excited about this Saturday's Doctor Who, which is just as well, since I will be at the gameshow competition all day with no chance to watch it anyway.  I just wish they would get to Rose already! ROSE, GODDAMNIT!!

Working tonight. Couldn't find someone to take tomorrows shift, so I work tomorrow night too. Boo. Oh well, at least I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn. The one thing about being made LEAD is there are exactly 4 people who can work for me. They are all busy tomorrow evening. Lame-o.

I had my appointment with AA today (academic advising), and I came out worse than I went in. Instead of just having to deal with Gaelic, now I have to switch my whole schedule up. Which means I can't take "Novel to Film" like was hoping, which sucks, because that class sounded awesome.

I have to go the ACTC office and see if I can take my third semester of Gaelic through the U of M. That means lots of bus fare and time spent on said bus, which, given my job and classes, is going to SUUUUUUUUCK. >-< I hate this.

Turns out everyone seemed to have a shitty day today, so once I finished watching (two incredibly) boring videos on the Irish 60's, I plopped myself in front of Firefly and Doctor Who. Nothing beats the blues like Mal and the doctor. ^_^ Kate was very nice and watched them with me, and even let me watch Firefly first!! How nice.

I am having breakfast with mom tomorrow to sort out this whole school mess. (Part of it is because I started crying on the phone, and she decided we weren't going to wait for coffee on Wednesday.) (I love my mom.)The downside is I have to get up earlier than normal. Tuesdays were my partial sleep-in days. That's ok, a decent non-caf breakfast for me! Horray!

Must complete my Irish journals, and then perhaps read a little bit more DW fan fiction before bed. Night all!

I attempted to clean up the apartment. I actually vaccumed. And then the stupid machine broke and spit a bunch of stuff onto our still-nasty carpet. Needless to say, our flat still looks like shit. But at least I did the dishes!

I watched over a few of the top 10 Sam/Jack moments here and now I want to re-watch the whole series. :( 10 seasons plus a movie? (Although Jack isn't in Ark of Truth, and to ship them is, lets face it, the reason I watch the show. Well, Daniel and Vala too, I suppose.) I miss last year when I would watch tons of SG-1 and Atlantis, and not have to bother with trivial things. Like worrying about homework. or working. Or generally having a life.

I don't think Kate would like this one so much, plus I have to get her through Doctor Who and Firefly anyway. I think Mondays are becoming "get-together-and-watch-awesome-tv" nights. But this means I now have no excuse to watch it. :( And my normal source for shippy videos is down. Plus YouTube likes to delete SG-1 vids, because they are bitches. -sigh-

Bedtime now. Perhaps a little Darcy to help me fall asleep. I only have 100 pages to go, but I've got zero time to read it. Time seems to have deserted me lately. :(
